Lettre du 30 octobre 1561 (de Trente): "Molto Magn. Sig. Fulvio. Erami smenticato di rispondere alla vostra delli XV. benche hò scritto al mio [α] Martino sopra la cosa delle medaglie che son più vostre che mie, e li libri altresì. Hò gran piacere che siate giunti in Roma nelle vostre delicie di amici e libri & antiquità. Il Conte Sertorio mi mandò un gettito di quelle tre medaglie che vi scrissi della Musa, & Hispania, e M. Catone. L’Ercole è bello e non mi parse allora moderno. Non viddi io quelle Consulari del Loredano, ma le Greche sono admirande. Havrò à caro che veniate à vederle con molte cose da barattare. Il Perseo mio è assai bello, ma il Demetrio è perfettissimo, con un Nettuno nudo di roverso singolare. Le medaglie d’oro Consolari mi piaceranno tutte quante, e la Statua equestre di Augusto, e pigliatele, conservatele per me, che vi sarò obligato. Della tavola delle Tribù, aspetto con desiderio che mi mandate la copia. A Monsign. Illustriss. basio la mano, & a V. S. mi raccomando.
