Lettre du 10 février 1567 (de Tamarite de Litera): “Di gratia non aspettate che il corriero habbia ligato le balze o baligie, ed accommodatele nel cavallo per scrivermi un polizino dove io aspettava un libro di inscritioni et medaglie et versi Grechi et Latini et mille trati brani in dechiaratione di essi. Horsu patienza per questa volta che io ancora sarò Parthis mendacior che non vi mando piu di quelli poëti, perche son fuora di Lerida alla visita. Il partito del patrone con M. Pyrrho mi piace sia concluso, et rallegratevi con l’un et l’altro di parte mia. Ma vorrei che attendessero alla stampa di libri perche godesse il mondo di tante richeze. Il libro del Goltzio non ho visto si e bello come ditte, non sara dispiacer vederlo, con tutto che sia imperfetto. et qual è al mondo che non sia imperfetto? vederò un altra volta la memoria di C.
