Lettre du 25 décembre 1569 (de Lérida): "Hizome mucha merced con los dos libros de Golzio, y con su carta, y assi escrivo al señor Presidente de Flandes la que va con esta; son libros muy ricos de medallas, y curiosidad de cosas, que son mucho de mi gusto, avunque no en todas me acaba de satisfacer, ò por defeto mio, ò por la dificultad grande que ay en entender cosas tan antiguas, y tan menudas, y en que tan pocos ingenios se han exercitado. Holguème de hallar dos, ò tres medallas, hechas a mi parecer en Zaragoça, entre las medallas de Augusto Cesar, no me acordando aver visto otras en otra parte: el yerro de mas importancia en que veo, que cae esse autor, es en tomar el nombre del metal por el nombre del Consul, ò Ditador, ò Triunfador, y assi haze falsas genealogias por este falso fundamento, mas como antes dixe, puedesele perdonar por los respetos de arriba.
