-Lettre du 13 septembre 1725 (de Florence): He mentions contents of the bundle sent containing his collations of Pliny and commentary on Homer. He describes the programme for making an edition of the Museum Florentinum. He himself is engaged on the Donian Collectanea. He has acquired some of the «gemmae» and cameos which belonged to Anna, once the wife of the Elector Palatine. (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS D’Orville 499, f° 5-7).
