Lettre du 19 avril 1727 (de Vienne): "Vi ringrazio delle due medagliette di argento. La consolare spettante alla famiglia Plancia è affatto ordinaria, e già l’aveva. Il Gallieno col rovescio di Victoria Aeterna è buona medaglia, ma non rara. Rare sono le medaglie o per la testa, e Gallieno è delle più ordinarie, ovvero per il rovescio, quando contiene istoria notabile, o fabbrica, o spettacolo, o cosa simile, su cui s’abbia campo a discorrere. Sicchè voi vedete, che una Vittoria in piedi tenente in mano una corona di alloro è un simbolo ordinario, e comune a tutti gli Augusti. Per esse due medaglie fatevi dunque dare dal fratello quattro lire, e l’Armeno può rimanerne contento, essendo assai ben pagate. In ogni caso potrete dargli fino a cinque lire di cotesta moneta. Cotesti Armeni eran soliti aver da Oriente medaglie Greche, e anche medaglioni rarissimi : ma presentemente la miniera è esausta, e i curiosi son troppi" (il a neigé en avril) (Zeno 1752, vol. 2, lettre n° 238, p. 473; Zeno 1785, vol. 4, lettre n° 710, p. 177; Tomassoni 2021a, p. 137; Tomassoni 2022b, p. 80).
