Lettre du 9 octobre 1737 (de Venise): “Il Sig. Cavaliere e Proccuratore Tiepolo, ha fatto stampare il Catalogo dell’insigne Museo già raccolto dal fu Senatore Gio: Domenico Tiepolo, il quale glielo ha lasciato per testamento. L’opera è in due grossi tomi in 4. magnificamente stampata in Padova nella stamperia del Seminario. Non so, se il Sig. Proccuratore vorrà che sia esposta in vendita. Egli generosamente me ne ha mandato un esemplare in regalo, assai nobilmente legato. Il compilatore di esso Catalogo è un tal Pietro Fondi nostro Veneziano, persona che più ne sa per pratica, che per istudio.
