Lettre du 4 février 1735 M. V. (1736) (de Venise): "(...) è stato jersera a farmi cortese visita il Sig. Abate Arrigoni, da cui mi furono mostrate diverse medaglie greche mandategli dal Sig. Ficoroni, e con esse una bellissima Sabina d’oro col rovescio della Concordia sedente, per cui gli domandano quindeci scudi : prezzo che a me non meno che a lui pare assai rigoroso, onde non credo che si risolverà a farne acquisto. E per verità io pure per essa non darei più di 10. scudi, e la stimerei ben pagata. Non so se questa medaglia sia la medesima che tempo fa mi fu proposta da lei’’ [BnM, Ms. It.
