Lettre du 14 avril 1742 (de Venise): “I giorni addietro m'è occorso di vedere una bellissima medaglia d’oro, di peso di due zecchini […]. Io non manco di comunicargliene la notizia, perchè la giudico degna di aver luogo nelle sue giunte. Ella da una parte ha la testa di Domiziano laureata, senz’altra epigrafe, che quella di queste due note numerali sotto il collo, ΠT, cioè Anno CCCLXXX. Nel rovescio vi si scorge un’altra testa virile, ornata e cinta di fascia reale, con questa leggenda all’intorno BACIΛEωC PHCKOYΠOPIΔOC" [BnM, Ms. It.
