Lettre du 25 août 1742 (de Venise): "[...] M'incresce di non aver duplicato il Didio Giuliano in argento, onde poterne servire il Soggetto, che gliel'ha richiesto. Due ne tengo nella mia serie, ma con differente rovescio. Tempo fa n'esitai per 6. zecchini una, che pur non era conservatissima. Io la stimo più rara in argento di quella di Pertinace. Non è poco, ch'io ne abbia una anche in oro, la quale ben sa in qual pregio si tenga. E quì di cuore mi protesto" [BnM, Ms. It.
