Lettre du 28 décembre 1726 (de Vienne): “Il giorno del Santo Natale è stato quello della pubblicazione di Antiquario Cesareo di D. Gio. Batista Panagia con assegnamento annuo di 1500. fiorini. (…) Egli in questa materia è stato mio direttore e maestro, e senza lui non mi sarei mai arrischiato di entrare in sì difficile studio (delle monete antiche, ndr), dove non si è mai abbastanza nè sicuro, nè dotto.
