Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
'Dear Sir,
I send you a description of such coins in my collection as were found in the parish of Elme, (Insul. Eliens.) I cannot exactly recollect the year, nor is it very material. I have now before me about thirty of the Denarii found the last year near March, an account of which (if it will be of any service) you may command from your affectionate humble servant,
Beaupre Bell.
[There follows a list, in Latin, of 26 coins from Gallienus to Gratian found at Elme: 8 Gallienus, 1 Salonina, 2 Victorinus, 6 Claudius II, 3 Tetricus I, 5 Tetricus II, 1 Diocletian, 1 Constantine, 1 Valentinian I, 1 Gratian]'
