-Lettre du 28 octobre ? (de Rome): “Mi scriva qualche cosa del padre Zaccaria. Vanno avanti i suoi annali ? oppur gli è venuta qualche proibizione? Ho conosciuto nel giorni passati da monsig. Zelada il vostro sig. abate Marini, su di cui mi mandaste già quel bell'epigramma greco: egli frequenta assai la camera del padre Oderico. E' stata portata ultimamente al padre abate Sarti una medaglia di Cicerone coniata dai Magnesii in onor suo : fece dello strepito sul principio, presso alcuni, presso altri fu stimata come cognita anche prima : ultimamente poi quasi tutti la davano per falsa. Ma non voglio seccarla di vantaggio » (Rubbi 1795, p. 122, lettre 177).
