Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

A 1771 inventory of the ancient coins in the collection of King George III. Burnett 2020b, p. 1070 suggests that it was authored by Richard Dalton, given that he was the King's librarian in 1771, played an important role in the formation of George's coin collection, and was appointed keeper of the King's medals in 1774.
