Lettre du 12 juillet 1629 (de Rome, à ?), p. 576: "Si parmi vos médailles avez quelques abeilles, je vous supplie me faire part du dessin, m’ayant commandé Monsegr le Cardinal de les mettre toutes ensemble, en ayant déjà dessiné jusqu’à 25, et si avez quelque chose de particulier sur icelles abeilles, vous m’obligerez beaucoup m’en faire part" (Paris, BnF, Manuscrits, Fr. 9544, fol. 196; Tamizey de Larroque 1894 vol. 5, lettre XXXII, p. 575-576).
