Lettre du 29 octobre 1756 (de Florence): "Sono state trovate nel territorio di Pienza alcune poche monete ed essendone tra queste cinque delle antiche, le rimetto a V(ostra) S(ignoria) I(llustrissima) d'ordine di S(ua) E(ccellenza) il signor Presidente conte di Richecourt affinchè si compiaccia di vedere se meritano di essere poste nel museo di S(ua) M(aestà) I(llustrissima), e in tal caso favorirà d'avvisarmi quale ne sarebbe giusto prezzo" (Firenze, Archivio di Stato, Miscellanea di Finanze A, 320; Fileti Mazza - Tomasello 1996, p. 139-140).
