-Lettre du 6 juin 1690 (de Florence) : « Ho veduta la medaglia, che per essere molto logora, non e stata intesa. è di Settimio Severo, come dal volto e dalla il vede nel rovescio io gli ho m[ ?] apertamente si legge AΔPIANΩ[ ?] altra vicina parola ho indovinato [ ?] à, poichè vi si legge ...ICAPE...[ ?] KAICAPEΩN. L'epoca nel mezzo [ ?]ta BΣ, ET. anno 62. L'Arduino [ ?] 9. pone tal medaglia senza l'epoca è dubbioso a quale delle due Diocesaree a esso nominate, debba attribuirsi. [ ?] nel mio libro mostro esservi state due altre Diocesaree, e una di queste essere l'antica Sepphoris nella Galilea, alla quale appartiene tal medaglia » (Noris 1741, lettre CXXXV, col. 295-296).
