-Lettre du 22 février 1755 (de Madrid) “Yo ya estoy disponiendo abrir las láminas de las medallas de España por quanto el rey me socorrió con mil pesos para la obra, que pasa de dos mil ». Y los gastos siguieron elevándose: “Solo ha compuesto 300 páginas, que no llegan a la mitad del Libro, y assí va despacio el publicarle, y sólo van ligeros los gastos, que pasan ya de tres mil Ducados” (Campos 2002, p. 410-411 ; Campos 2010, p. 18).
