-Lettre du 27 décembre 1757 (de Madrid) : “Mis ojos tuvieron este Otoño alguna mejoría, pero con la entrada de invierno han vuelto al llanto, con que es mala señal de imprimir libros. Este de las Medallas va muy desgraciado, sin saber el paradero, pues en los 18 Meses de mi indisposición no se ha hecho nada de provecho. En los claros que ha havido, se han puesto en limpio unos 24 pliegos de Marquilla, que corresponde a poco más de una de tres partes del Original. Las láminas abiertas creo no llegan todavía a 50 y van gastados cerca de 30 mil reales; pero estas se hallan paradas, como la copia del Original por no haver quien entone el Órgano en no estando yo bueno” (Campos 2002, p. 235 ; Campos 2010, p. 18).
