-Lettre du 29 août 1769 (de Madrid) : “Aquí han llegado Medallas y Medallones batidos en España, nunca vistos ni oídos. Y son hasta diez, que si pudiere lograrlos, me inclino a dar continuación de mis Medallas con más de un ciento hasta hoy no publicadas” ; “Mi obra principal ocupa la primera atención; y así queda poca para otras cosas. Dichoso Vsd. que tiene tiempo para todo” ; “Mis medallas las hay fuera de papel común, en otro más grande de Francia, su precio 80 Reales; en folio, un Tomo, 90 reales. En superfino de Holanda, de a 500 Reales la resma, importan los dos Tomos puestos a la rústica 200 Reales” (Campos 2002, p. 265 ; Campos 2010, p. 9, 10, 18).
