Lettre du 22 février 1752 (de Madrid) : “sólo quiero quedarme con españolas, y ponerlas en la Librería del rey para que nunca se pierdan, y tenga el Público esta utilidad” ; “Yo tengo dos Othones, uno de plata, otro de bronce, de 2ª forma, latino legítimo, traído de Antiochía; que no hay otro en España (que yo sepa), y los tengo para conmutar por Españolas, con todas las demás Romanas y Griegas; pues solo quiero quedarme con españolas” (Madrid, Real Academia de la Historia, Mss. 9/7564 ; Campos 2002, p. 31-32 ; Campos 2010, p. 9 et 15).
