Lettre du 11 juillet 1758 (de Madrid) : “Por acá llega tal qual que se escapa de las redes de los Andaluces Incluso poniéndose con toda libertad en manos del otro: “Vmd. podía dejarse de [enviar] dibujos, y tratar con el P. Flórez de la recompensa que debe darle por las otras tres o quatro suyas [Góticas], que acá armaban más que allá” ; Algo se va vendiendo, pero con lentitud, pues a los aficionados conocidos y amigos los he surtido yo, passando de 70 juegos los que se han regalado" (Madrid, Real Academia de la Historia, Mss. 9/7564 ; Campos 2002, p. 93-94; Campos 2010, p. 11, 18, 19).
