Lettre du 27 octobre 1574 (de Bologne): "Serenissimo mio Signore, io mando con questa mia all'Altezza Vostra Serenissima due medaglie greche, l'una di Marc' Aurelio con Esculapio et Igia e l'altra di Licinio Valeriano, la quale sebbene non è di molto buon mastro, è nondimeno rara per il roverscio. La prima costa scudi sei e tiene di medaglione e l'altra scudi tre. Ecci poi ancora un Massimino secondo, che potrebbe servire quando che l'Altezza Vostra non l'avesse alla seria delli posteriori. Vostra Altezza averà avuto per mano del Cavaliere Anton Serguidi un medaglione di Decio, che per il procaccio passato le mandai." (Firenze, Archivio di Stato, MP 666, c. 312; cfr.
