Lettre du 7 février 1574 (de Bologne): "Illustrissimo et Eccellentissimo Signor Gran Principe mio padrone colendissimo, mando con questa mia all'Altezza Vostra due medaglie antiche di bronzo, per le quali quando sieno in sua sodisfacione e che le piacesse comettere che mi fossero mandate sei scudi per chiascuna o d'ambedue cinque medaglie di oro, mi restarei contentissimo, come ancor farò di quanto in ciò disponerà l'Altezza Vostra alla quale divotamente mi offero e raccomando."
