Lettre du 29 janvier 1575 (de Bologne): "Serenissimo mio Signore, io riebbi con la lettera di Vostra Altezza Serenissima de 14 del presente le otto medaglie di brongio, che prima le avea mandate e perché desidero con desiderio grandissimo di mandarle speso qualcosa, poiché le piace favorme [sic] di vedere volontieri ciò che le mando, ho pensato di mandarle, sì come faccio con questa, un medaglione di Faustina la giovene, il quale se sodisfacesse a Vostra Altezza in premuta delle quatordice medaglie d'argento che già si compiaque mandarme, io ne restarei contento, e con le prime, spero di mandarlene un altro assai raro.
