Lettre du 12 mai 1668 (de Bologne): "Mi rallegro con Vostra Altezza del spasso virtuoso si piglia nel veder le medaglie e curiosità antiche in cotesta città dove ne sono i profluvii non ostante che sempre da curiosi eruditi se ne portin via e sempre se ne ritrovano delle nuove. Rendo umilissime grazie all'Altezza Vostra della grazia che mi farà di farmi vedere le acquistate, come vengo a Firenze, che spero in Dio sia a settembre ..
