-Lettre du 5 décembre 1788 (de Den Haag) : « Vour reçevrez dans le balot un livre italien assez precieux et passablement executé sur les pierres gravées avec noms d’artistes. Vous le trouverez en feuilles, mais je vous prie de les faire relier en demie reliure, sans les faire couper ou rogner, pour les raisons que je vous dirai.
