Lettre du 12 fév. 1706 : sur la vente de la collection Boncompagni, dont il a établi le catalogue, en recourant au savoir de Magnavacca : « Godo al segno maggiore, che la stima delle medaglie d’oro e d’argento e delle gemme figurate dello Studio Boncompangi sia fatto dal di lei purgatissimo giudicio » (Bologne, Biblioteca universitaria, Ms. 2479, lettre 5 ; voir Missere Fontana 2001-2002, p. 219, note 65).
