-Lettre du 18 mai 1652 (de Rome) : « L’Augusto è rinettato quanto si è potuto senza ritoccarlo, è riuscito mediocre, e pero il padrone ne vole per il meno cinque scudi, dolendosi non sia riuscito miggliore perché bramava di 7. o 8. Lo mandaro quest’altra settimana assieme con il Didio Giuliano, se al signor principe piaceranno, potrà ritenerseli, quando no, aspetteremo miglior occasioni” (Firenze, ASF, Carteggio d’artisti, VIII, f° 622; M.
