-Lettre du 29 avril 1656 (de Rome): “Questa mattina la regina di Svezia si è degnata di venir a mia casa a vedere le mie medaglie et antichità; n'ha vedute una parte e nella seguente settimana ha detto voler tornar a veder l'altre. Mi ha anco detto aver già scritto in Bruxelles, acciò venghino a Roma tutte le sue medaglie, libri e quadri, volendo essa in questa città vivere e morire, del che m'è parso darne parte a V.A.S., alla quale per fine profondamente m'inchino devotissimo et obbligatissimo servo perpetuo, Francesco Gottifredi, Roma li 29 aprile 1656 » (Florence, ASF, Carteggio d’artisti, VIII, f° 26; Barocchi-Gaeta Bertelà 2007, p. 537).
