-Lettre du 8 avr. 1656 (de Rome) : « Essendo capitate qui due medaglie, a mio parere belle e conservatissime, ho stimato bene in conformità de’ comandi già fattimi per parte di Vostra Altezza Serenissima, di mandargliele a vedere, sì come fo in uno scatolino ben sigillato, avendo notato il prezzo di ciascheduna nella sua cartuccia ; quando non piacessero farà grazia con comodità far rimandare. È capitato anco un Costantino Massimo in oro qual per riverso ha la sua figura sedente con globo in mano, simile a quello che Vostra Altezza ha nel suo studio, ma li titoli attorno sono diversi, essendo questo COS. VI, dove la sua è COS.
