-Lettre du 31 oct. 1665 (de Rome) : « Domani ne daro la cura a persona che lo sa fare meglio di tutti, essendo non solo prattico in tal professione, ma intelligente sopra tutti nella lingua greca, essendo stato segretario sin alla morte del già cardinale Astalli, e pero, avendoli io specialmente avertito a non palesar ad alcuno d’aver veduto o rinettato tali medaglie, sono certo che Vostra Altezza ne resterà obedito » (Firenze, ASF, Carteggio d’artisti, VIII, f° 295 ; M.
