Lettre du 29 janvier 1667 (de Rome): "Sono molt'anni che io ebbi già una medaglia simile a questa, che Vostra Altezza Serenissima mi ha onorato di mandare, quale avendo lungamente considerata e conferita anco con Luca Olstenio, né lui, né io sapessimo mai trovare a chi spettasse tal riverso, che però niente di più mi resta a dire a questa di Vostra Altezza, massime perché non vi si legge alcuna lettera, che ci dia qualche lume d'essa. Le rendo fratanto quelle grazie maggiori che devo di tanto onore che mi fa, mentre io, senza più, a Vostra Altezza Serenissima profondamente m'inchino.
