-Lettre du 21 fév. 1654 : la terre ne fournit plus de matériel ; ne restent à vendre que les monnaies déjà dans des collections, a échangé avec Séguin un bel Didius Julianus en or ; Séguin ne veut lui aussi que des exemplaires de conseravation idéale : « l’abbate di Séguin, doppo che vidde già le medaglie di monsignor de’ Massimi e le mie, non ci è speranza che voglia comperar medaglie se non massimamente conservate » (voir Missere Fontana 2009, p. 243, note 39 et 248, note 83).
