Lettre du 14 avril 1579 (de Florence): "[...] Quanto alle medagle ne maneggio e ne veggo si può dir ad ogni ora, tante, per la particulare delettazione, che ci piglio drento anch'io, che mal posso ricordarmi di quelle che l'orefice milanese dice di avermi mostre. La Signoria Vostra se le goda, né per me occorre che in questo la si pigli altra pena. Nel resto ho ricevuto tutte le sue e me le offero affezionatamente e le desidero ogni bene."
