-Lettre du 12 décembre 1738 (de Pesaro) : « Il Golzio (Goltzius) riferisce due nostre medaglie greche [GRECO] e lo Spandemio ci assicura averle vedute nel Tesoro Mediceo. La supplico, se le fossero capitate alla mano, significarmelo. Io, come paesano, hò cercato di spiegarle in una mia lunga lettera, che desideravo stampar qui, ma non si è potuto per mancanza di caratteri greci, quantunque mi avessero [c. 179v] lusingato di provvedere a questi, ed altro, che mancava.
