-Lettre du 2 juillet 1740 (de Rome) : “Il Sig.r Conte di Pianura oriundo da una famiglia de nobili di Bologna, che merita l’eccellenza come gli è data da sudditi del suo Feudo, certamente mi averebbe favorito sul disegno della patera, la conosceva essere antica per causa, che contro mio merito, suol favorirmi da Sig.re, che è, e basta dire che non conoscendolo, che per lettera, in avermi commesso libri, o medaglie per vedermi disinteressato, sono cinque anni che continova a mandarmi due botti di lagrima eccellente del suo Feudo, e senza che Io ne paghi il porto.” (Firenze, Biblioteca Marucelliana, BVII, 11, f° 182r-v – online).
