-Lettre du 11 mai 1743 (de Rome): “Vorrei adesso pregarla, che ritrovandomi da anni sono una sing.ma medaglia, e che non ho mai mostrata per evitar l’impegno de privarmene, che è di Teofane Mitileno arricchito da Pompeo etc., ed altro inedito, che VS. Ill.ma accennasse d’averle Io scritto, che averei desiderio dedicargli un’operetta, ma che non m’arrischio a dirglilo; così dalla risposta, che darà a VS. Ill.ma vedrò il di lui genio, poiché il mio non ha altro fine che dimostrargli una parte di gratitudine, che è quanto, e a VS. Ill.ma fò um.ma riv.za Di VS.
