-Lettre du 13 août 1583 : sur la production des Dialogues d’Agustin dont la gravure des planches avance lentement : « Circa il libro de Dialoghi, V.S. saprà che non ve n’è in Roma altro che quelli che Antonio Augustino ha mandato per servitio delle medaglie che s’intagliano et quelli che sono venuti sono singulati, cioè un volume di di ciascuno dialogo et sono venuti portati dal corriere. Come serà fintio l’intaglio delle medaglie si aggiungerà al libro et all’hora se ne haverà buon numero di Spagna, essendo Antonio Augustino per mandarne qua una cassa. Ecco la causa della scarsità, perché in Roma non ce ne sono et la causa del non essercene è come ho detto l’imperfettione del libro, il quale si dirà perfetto, come sieno intagliare le medaglie le quali tutta via si lavorano, ma non saprei dire il fine. Quanto a quello che V.
