Lettre du 8 septembre 1756 (de Pise): "Il favore adunque di cui la prego è questo: desidero d'avere una notarella col peso dei danari d'argento e d'oro, sotto Augusto, sotto Vespasiano e sotto Giustiniano, a peso fiorentino. Sicchè per far ciò ella vede subito che bisogna ricorrere alle monete più conservate, pesarne varie per ogni classe, e cavarne pesi gli adeguati, la qual cosa farò io.
