Lettre du 30 mai 1579 (de Bibbiena): "Serenissimo Gran Duca, Nel passare io per Chiusi in questa visita, mi sono venute alle mano alcune poche medaglie antiche, le quali supplico Vostra Altezza Serenissima che resti servita riceverle e se ve ne sarà alcuna buona, mi sarà di sommo contento e quando non ve ne sia, si degni pigliar da me la buona volontà. Io attendo a seguitar la visita con quella più diligenza che io posso et a mio ritorno sentirà da me quanto io ci abbia conosciuto per suo servizio, con che umilmente l'inchino.
