-Lettre du 13 avril 1706 (de Deventer) :« Il n’y a rien de si vrai, que personne n’a fait un si bon usage des médailles au coin d’Homère, que vous […] Vos Selecta me tiennent fort au cœur, et il n’y a rien que j’attends avec plus d’empressement […] J’ai acquis depuis peu une belle médaille de bronze de Septimus Severus […] ; P.S. : « Je vous prie de vouloir faire tenir l’enclose à M. Génebrier.
