-Lettre du 26 déc. 1702 (de La Haye) : sur l’absence de monogramme au chrisme sur les monnaies de Maxence erronément avancé par du Choul ; c’est bien Constantin qui le premier a mis un chrisme sur ses monnaies « D’ailleurs il est nécessaire de remarquer, que Mediobarbe (Mezzabarba) ne nous donne pas une seule médaille de Maxence où l’on voit le monogramme en quelques chose qui en approche » (Cuper 1743, I, p. 390-1).
