Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
'ye finest which has ever been in Holland as well of ye number as pretiosity of Coins, and other Antiquities. ...Because you are a great lover of such Antiquities and understand ’em perfectly wel, I thought it not inconvenient to give you a full account of.' Götze goes on to describe gold coins [in the collection of Jacob de Wilde] of Pupienus, Manlia Scantilla and Didius Julianus, bronzes of Bonosus and Martianus (presumably both fakes), and a coin of Byzantium (?).
