'Right Wors^pll
The 24^th instant I writt yo^r Wors^p a few lines by M^r Richard Phelips (Esq^r Ferdinando’s friend) by whome I sent yo^r Wors^p 373 meddalls, who promised me to be carefull of them & deliver them to yo^r Wors^p. In y^e same letter I inclosed y^e coppy of three meddalls, w^ch (as considering y^e unskilfulnesse of y^e Workeman, being my selfe) are not unlike y^e originalls, both for bignesse, /// & what else I found in them. The coppys of w^ch I also send yo^r Wors^p here inclosed, for feare y^e other may miscarry. They were lent me by one M^r Newman a Merch^t here (who was M^r Lakes friend) & esteemed at a great value, who hearing I had y^e honour of yo^r acquaintance intreated me to send yo^r Wors^p // coppyes of them & craved yo^r Wors^ps opinion concerning them w^ch please to afford me. The 373 meddalls w^ch I sent yo^r Wors^p were bought almost as many times (here not appearing above one or two at a time to be sold) w^ch made me neglect keeping y^e account of their cost, but shall desire yo^r Wors^{Superscript text}p as you shall esteeme them, to pay unto my Mother, & in what also I may be further serviceable to yo^r Wors^p you may freely comand him who is
