'Right Worspll
The 24th instant I writt yor Worsp a few lines by Mr Richard Phelips (Esqr Ferdinando’s friend) by whome I sent yor Worsp 373 meddalls, who promised me to be carefull of them & deliver them to yor Worsp. In ye same letter I inclosed ye coppy of three meddalls, wch (as considering ye unskilfulnesse of ye Workeman, being my selfe) are not unlike ye originalls, both for bignesse, /// & what else I found in them. The coppys of wch I also send yor Worsp here inclosed, for feare ye other may miscarry. They were lent me by one Mr Newman a Mercht here (who was Mr Lakes friend) & esteemed at a great value, who hearing I had ye honour of yor acquaintance intreated me to send yor Worsp // coppyes of them & craved yor Worsps opinion concerning them wch please to afford me. The 373 meddalls wch I sent yor Worsp were bought almost as many times (here not appearing above one or two at a time to be sold) wch made me neglect keeping ye account of their cost, but shall desire yor WorsSuperscript textp as you shall esteeme them, to pay unto my Mother, & in what also I may be further serviceable to yor Worsp you may freely comand him who is
