Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

'Right Worspll Sir
The 24th febry I sent yor Worsp 373 Medalls by Mr Phelips Esqr Ferdinando’s friend. Those serve only to acquaint yor Worsp yt Mr John Newman of whome I wrote in said letter hath great store of Medalls, good some of wch are writt upon as in this inclosed paper. If yor Worsp would please to write a few lines to Mr Newman I am confident you would receive as good content as you your selfe would desire. There is not one man in all our Nation here yt hath any knowledge in medalls but him, who as I have often heard him speake in Mr Lake’s life time, would gladly have ye honour of yor acquaintance. I have not further to trouble you yor Worsp at present but wth my humble service to yor selfe, Lady, Esqr Nando & ye rest of yor Noble family I crave leave & remaine
Aleppo 19th June 1665 Right Worspll
