RemarksRemarks regarding the annotation. (en)
'Hugh Pagan speculates that it is tempting to read Bramston for Branston and to identify the individual concerned as Dr George Bramston (c. 1650–1710), Master of Trinity Hall, Cambridge, who had died in 1710, and, interestingly, was Sir Robert Abdy’s father-in-law. But this is pure surmise.' (Burnett 2020b, p. 1632 n. 11) (en)
