Lettre du 11 avril 1575 (de Bologne): "Serenissimo Gran Duca mio Signore, non si tosto ebi inviato a Vostra Altezza Serenissima uno Gordiano Cesare, medaglia rara sì, ma mal condicionata, come potete per allor avere, che di subito mi si apresentò ocasione di uno bello e facendone aquisto deliberai, sendo mio intento che non solo rare, ma conservate le abi, con quant'altre, facendogli umilmente reverenza a presentarcello afine che sarà di suo gusto, inssieme con le altre, le ponga in frotta, quando che non, melle rimandi che tentarò con occasioni che potrebeno nascere a la giornata farne uscita in cuose che forsse gli potrebeno esser più care.
