Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

'Gronovius thanks him for ‘the special coin of Galba’ (egregium ... illud numisma Galbae) for the ‘argentea Domitiani et Trajani et Hadriani’, with which Cay has increased his collection (his quum auges thecam nummariam meam). He considers whether he should have spurned common coins ‘hodiernos nummos’ and bought the ‘gazophylacium’, which was in the sale of the books of Wilhelm van der Goes (formerly of Nicolas Heinsius) ten years earlier.' (Burnett 2020b, pp. 731-2)
