they were between sixteen hundred and two thousand of them. Of them I have two hundred… [and for the coins found at Bristol] There were many found lately not far from Bristol, of which I have (I think) about forty. … There is among mine one very fair Otho, but most of the Constantines; many of Julian Apostate with the goates beards & without the rest. Jovianus, Valentinians and Valens and Gratianus very fresh and unworn; several reverses. I suppose them hid about the Valentinian’s time, where they lay in a rock ever since.
