Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
Accompanied by ‘the ancient Roman coyne I promised. If yow already have another of the same I desire you to returne it; otherwise it is yours.' (Bodleian Library, MS Smith 71, ff. 163-4; Burnett 2020b, p. 168).
Abstract from EMLO: He has sent him a map of Longford county to be added to the rest, and a Roman coin. He wishes he could have employment in England to enjoy Sir R's company and the use of his excellent library. He reminds Sir R. of his promise to procure him the use of some Irish annals belonging to the Earl of Totnes.
